Accoil analyzes product usage data from your application to help your team understand how users and accounts engage with your product.
Before setting up any integration, you’ll need your Accoil Ingestion Key. Then you can choose the connection method that best fits your existing tools and architecture.
Step 1: Find Your Accoil Ingestion Key
Your ingestion key authorizes tools and applications to send product events to Accoil.
To find it:
Go to Settings > Product Settings
Select Overview
Copy the Ingestion Key shown on the right side of the page
You’ll use this key when configuring integrations or sending events.
Step 2: Choose How to Send Data
There are several ways to send product engagement data to Accoil. Most teams choose the option that best matches their current analytics or data pipeline.
Option | Best For | Description | Setup Guide |
Send Events Directly to Accoil | Teams implementing custom tracking | Developers can send events directly using the Accoil API or JavaScript library. This provides full control over event tracking and instrumentation.
Segment | Teams using a customer data platform | Send events to Segment and add Accoil as a destination. Segment forwards user events, properties, and account data to Accoil automatically.
RudderStack | Teams using open-source CDP infrastructure | Similar to Segment, RudderStack can forward product events to Accoil as a destination.
Amplitude | Teams already using product analytics | Stream events from Amplitude directly into Accoil without re-instrumenting your product.
PostHog | Teams using open-source product analytics | Send events from PostHog into Accoil using native integrations or event streaming. |
Once connected, Accoil will begin ingesting events such as:
User actions and feature usage
User properties (role, plan, lifecycle stage)
Account-level data and attributes
Most integrations begin sending events within a few minutes of setup.
