How this helps

Monitoring engagement score trends allows you to continuously refine your customer success strategies and take proactive action.

YES! You can track engagement over time

Engagement isn’t static — and neither is your score. Accoil makes it easy to track how engagement shifts over time at the global, account, and user level — all from the left-hand navigation menu.

Let’s walk through it.

Dashboard: Global score trends

Start at the Dashboard.

You’ll see your total score, plus average adoption and events over time.

  • Hover over the chart to view daily trends

  • Check the percentage change from 30 days ago

  • Scroll to see feature-level adoption change over the past month

  • Scroll to see total active accounts and total active users

This gives you a bird’s-eye view of how engagement is evolving across your whole product.

Score Trending Logic: How We Calculate It

Wherever you see a 🔺 or 🔻 next to a score, that’s a trend indicator. We calculate it by comparing a user’s (or account’s) current score to the previous engagement period.

For example:

  • If your score period is 7 days, we compare today’s score to 7 days ago

  • This lets you quickly identify meaningful increases or drops

Use Segments to Drill Down

Looking for more targeted insights?

Click SegmentsAccount Segments to explore pre-built or custom segments like:

  • 🔥 Red Hot Accounts – score increase of 10+ pts

  • ❄️ Ice Cold Accounts – score drop of 10+ pts

  • 💤 Recently Inactive – zero events over your selected period

You can also:

  • Create your own segments

  • Filter by traits like tenure, activation, or product usage

  • Combine filters to find exactly who needs attention
