Summary

Create and manage multiple workspaces in Accoil to score and analyze different types of users — all with their own engagement behaviors

How this helps

Allows for a more nuanced engagement analysis, ensuring different user segments receive tailored scoring models.

Why Use Multiple Workspaces?

Not all users behave the same way.

With multiple workspaces, you can tailor scoring to fit different segments — like:

  • Trial vs. paid users

  • Onboarding vs. power users

  • Admins vs. team members

  • Different products, plans, or departments

Each workspace acts as a custom scoring model, with its own feature & event weights, time windows, and filters.

What Is a Workspace Again?

A workspace is simply a scoring model in Accoil. It tells us:

  • Which features and events matter

  • How much they matter

  • Which users it applies to

How to Create Multiple Workspaces

  1. Create your first workspace
Build the scoring model: select features, assign weights, and pick your time window.

Learn how to configure a workspace

  2. Apply filters (optional)
Use filters to focus your scoring on a specific group — e.g., only trial users or admins.

    You can filter by:

    • Plan type

    • Role

    • User status

    • Behavior patterns

When a filter is applied, only matching users are scored — and all dashboards reflect that segment.

  3. Rinse and repeat

Just follow the same steps to create a second, third, or as many workspaces as you need.

Switching Between Workspaces

Once you’ve created more than one workspace, you can switch views anytime.

To toggle:

  1. Open the Workspaces menu (top left of your screen).

  2. Select the workspace you want — e.g. Paid Accounts, At-Risk Accounts, or Trial Accounts.

Your entire Accoil view will update instantly to reflect the selected workspace.

Tip for new users: Start with one workspace to get the hang of scoring before adding more
