Create and customise a dashboard

Create a dashboard for your team and arrange the metric cards, layout, visibility, and feeds it needs.

Custom dashboards let you combine the metric cards your team needs in one place. You can create a dashboard from scratch or duplicate a dashboard and tailor the copy.

Create a starting point

Open a dashboard's Options menu to duplicate it, or use View all dashboards to see the dashboards available in the workspace. You can also create a dashboard from scratch in Workspace settings.

Dashboard settings for name, listing, and feeds

Set the dashboard name and visibility

When editing a dashboard, give it a clear name. Choose whether it is listed:

  • A listed dashboard appears in the left navigation for people in the workspace.

  • A dashboard that is not listed can suit work in progress or a more specialised view.

You can also choose whether to show feeds on the dashboard. Depending on the layout, feeds appear above the dashboard content or in a right-hand column.

Arrange metric cards

Choose Configure dashboard from the Options menu to arrange the metric cards on a custom dashboard.

  • Drag cards to change their order.

  • Use a two-column layout or make an individual card full width.

  • Open a card's settings where available to change its display options.

  • Remove a card when it no longer belongs in the dashboard.

Add a metric card

There are two ways to add a metric card to a custom dashboard:

  1. In Configure dashboard, choose Add metric card and select a metric from the Metric Library. The card is added to the bottom of the dashboard.

  2. In the Metric Library, choose Add to dashboard on a metric, then choose the custom dashboard that should receive it.
