Dashboard controls set the context for the metric cards you are viewing. Use them to look at a different period, switch between users and accounts, or select a feature or event where that dashboard supports it.
Change the time period
Use the time-period control in the top-right of a dashboard to change the reporting window. The available options include 7 days, 14 days, 4 weeks, and 12 weeks.
Time periods affect both the headline values and the charts below them. Compare metrics using the same period when you want to understand whether a number has changed.
Switch between users and accounts
The object control lets you view metrics for users or accounts. A user-level metric describes individual people; an account-level metric groups activity around the account they belong to.
Select a feature or event when available
Feature- and event-related dashboards can include a control for choosing the feature or event being analysed. Some metric cards also have their own selection controls for a more specific element.
The controls available depend on the metric card and dashboard you are viewing.
Read an incomplete period
The latest point in a timeline chart can be grey. Grey indicates that the current day or period is incomplete, so Accoil is still collecting data for it.
Treat an incomplete period as a work in progress rather than a finalized comparison point.
